Anti-Stress

Stress is something that everyone has experienced within their lives. From going on a rollercoaster to watching a horror movie late at night, stress comes naturally to all of us. However, there are different types of stress that can effect your health in many ways.

Major Acute Stress

You may not realize it, but even little moments of stress can have a big impact on your health. Acute stress can cause a variety of issues on the human body. For example, acute stress can lead to inflammation of ones circulatory system and cholesterol fluctuation.

Chronic Stress

Chronic stress is stress that is long drawn out throughout your life. From worrying about paying the bills on time to thinking about a loved ones well being can prove disastrous on the human body. Long term stress can cause a major increase in many stress hormones such as Cortisol. This can lead to a massive disruption to how your body operates. When your body doesn't operate efficiently, you are at risk of various physical and mental problems such as anxiety, high blood pressure, heart disease, and heart attack.

Stay Active

It's been proven that staying physically active can help reduce stress. Physical activity can induce natural chemicals within your body such as dopamine and other endorphins to relieve the stress of life!

Meditation

Life is chaotic and unpredictable, it can leave your mind in a stressful mess. That's why meditating is such a great way to tame the mind. Through meditation you calm your mind and find peace in the silence.

There are many different ways to meditate. From guided meditation to visualization you can practice these forms of meditation almost anywhere!

Sleep

Sleep is an essential part of life. Lack of sleep is terrible for both the mind and the body. The average adult needs 7-9 hours of sleep every night. Sleep helps your body recharge and rejuvenate from a stressful day. If you sleep well you feel well!
